The ADVANCED DIVER Course by Blue Water Divers consists of
the following elements:
- four theory lessons
- two dry practical lessons
- two open water lessons
- theory assessment
- twenty dives in range of conditions
The course has relatively few 'formal' practical lessons and is
much more heavily based on a further structured broadening of
experience in a wide range of conditions.

EXPEDITION PLANNING
Use available sources of information to select dives sites in
areas unknown to the Branch/Centre
DIVE PLANNING AND
MANAGEMENT
Act as Dive Marshal for diving at sites unknown to the
Branch/Centre involving multi-day diving at locations remote
from the Branch's/Centre's normal area of operation
DIVING EXPERIENCE
Have experience of a range different diving conditions during 20
dives totalling a minimum of 600mins.in water time since
qualifying as a Dive Leader
Have experience of acting as Dive Leader
Have experience of diving form boats
Have experience of acting as a Dive
Manager at a range of sites including some unknown to the
Branch/Centre
Have experience of depths exceeding 30m
